Hello everyone! Thank you very much for visiting our website!! My husband, Joel, and I are the proud parents of two little boys. Wesley is seven and David just turned two years old! I studied architecture and fiber arts at UNCC, and I am now a stay at home mommy.
I spent a few years competing in the Mrs. systems. I always felt that I was on the wrong side of the fence. I wanted to help my competitors, rather than compete against them at the pageant. I even gave one of the contestants posing advice during our down time on pageant day, and once told the first runner up where she should buy her gown if she competed the following year. The first runner up did take my advice and the following year she won... I was her first runner up, ha!
A few months after my friend, Rachel became Mrs. NC US 2009, she was without a director. I had always loved the Mrs. NC US system and sent my directorship application to the national office. Several days later, the phone call came...I was the new NC director!!!!
I wholeheartedly believe in celebrating marriage, family, and compassion for others. This is what I strive to accomplish through the pageant. I want every single contestant to walk away with outstanding memories of a first class event. Second to my family, this pageant is my full time job. If my queen has a goal she wants to accomplish, the sky is the limit! I do not know the definition of "no" and know that anything is possible. I will do everything possible to make her year a successful one!! Together we will move mountains!!!
